That’s a very broad question. It truly depends on several factors, such as the greater the injury the more frequently you will need to be seen, the longer you have had the pain or numbness, underlying conditions, and even age. An example is the injuries that have occurred due to a car accident may require daily care for the first week and decreasing frequency the next weeks. On average, with a “normal injury” or “it just hurts” kind of pain, at least one to maybe two times per week and decreasing visit frequency as the pain decreases and disappears.

Many people prefer to come in on a regular basis: I have some people who like to come in once per week, while others are every other week, and some come in once a month. They all have made the comment that the visits “keep them going” and “I feel so much better.”

As you can see everyone is different, I don’t put everyone into the same treatment plan we discuss what is best for you. Taking into consideration your health, your underlying conditions, and most importantly your schedule; many people would like to come in much more frequently; although their schedule and finances may not allow the suggested frequency of treatment.
